A family of three, including a pregnant woman, a man, and a young girl, sitting together on a cozy blanket near large windows, enjoying a moment of happiness inside a bright room.
A family enjoying a picnic outdoors in a garden with yellow flowers and trees. The woman and a young girl are sitting with pieces of cake on plates, while a man in glasses and a white t-shirt is holding a slice of cake and smiling.
A family of four, including a young girl, a woman, a man, and a baby, sitting on a fluffy rug in a bedroom exchanging a kiss.
A woman and children playing on a wooden covered bridge during daytime. Children are running and a woman is smiling and holding a child's hand.
Black and white photo of a family sitting on a couch. The family includes two young girls, a woman, and a man. The woman is holding the younger girl, and the man is interacting with the older girl. They are smiling and appear to be happy.
A woman with long blonde hair holding a young child with short brown hair, wearing a birthday hat with the number one, on a wooden bridge or platform with wooden lattice walls and a partially visible balloon in the background.
A young boy is sitting on a wooden chair outdoors on a grassy area with green foliage behind him. He is looking down at a book with colorful illustrations, wearing a light gray shirt, matching shorts, white sneakers, and gray socks. Above him, there are three balloons: one large gold number two balloon and two smaller light blue balloons, all floating in the air.

For those of us who want to press pause on the everyday moments as well as the milestones before the changes and the shifts make the landscape of our lives a new frontier. Because you know that they’ll only be this little and have this sense of wonder for “so long”, that you’re 8 weeks now and want to have evidence of your journey through motherhood, that having seasonal pictures and special occasions (1st birthdays - Mother’s Day surprises - you bought or are building a house!) are all wonderful examples of life unfolding and worth celebrating with picture-proof.

We know these things can - and do - happen through the year but sometimes we want to do them but then we forget to reach out, or we wait too long and the availability isn’t there, or X, or Y - don’t worry. We’ve all been there.

But with my Legacy Sessions we’ll create a custom plan that’s perfect for broken up into 4 or more sessions so our budgets and our hearts can be happy. We’ll have planning meetings to go over what you want captured, when (or thereabouts) the best times through the year will be, and how the moments will be nurtured and captured.

A family of four working together inside a home under construction. The father is holding a young girl on a ladder, while the mother and another young girl support her. The walls are exposed framing and insulation, with bright light coming through a large window opening.

Step One

We’ll get to know one another a little bit - learning about you and your family helps me to understand how I can best serve you. We can chat over the phone or set-up a zoom call so you can see I’m a real person, a fellow mom, a trust worthy friend, and approachable professional.

This is where we’ll also go through what the session is like with me, what the creative options are, pricing and payment schedule, and the booking process.

Group of people, including children, inside an indoor zoo exhibit, observing animals through a glass wall, with trees visible outside

Step Two

Once you’re booked with me, we’ll make and finalize all the details of when, how, and what-if’s. We’ll discuss outfits, possible locations, who will be there, and the photo combinations you are expecting to have.

Here is where we dig deep into the why and how of your sessions - what are the upcoming milestones or life events or seasons that are sure to mean the most to you and require documentation. We’ll draw inspiration from your everyday life, family outings, Pinterest, your favorite movie, a song - whatever embodies the spirit of your family in the current season and the ones to come.

A young woman with long hair smiling and sitting in tall grass outdoors, holding a fluffy dog with its tongue out in a black-and-white photo.

Step Three

Session day comes and we execute our well-laid plans with as much excitement and flexibility as we know as moms is a necessity. This is the time to relax into the process we’ve talked through and enjoy your loved ones for memorable pictures to last a lifetime.

A family of six people walking together outdoors at dusk, including two adults, two teenagers, and two young children, near parked cars and a bench on a city street.

Step Four

After we part ways, I’ll get to work selecting the best images from our session and putting them through my editing process. When they’re ready for delivery, you’ll receive an excited text or email (sometimes both!) to let you know they’re ready for viewing.

You’ll receive all the best images for prints, albums, Christmas gifts - however you choose to enjoy your images and a great big thank you from me for your trust and hope in the process.

It’s time to see your life in an entirely new light.
